When
Mario Mazza, 50 years ago set up the first little
coffee-shop in Naples, would have never guessed that
he also had to make up on his own even the ... row
material ! Despite every controversy, his neapolitan
entrepreneurial creativity and his initiative, proved
his right.
He started out with a modest torrefacting laboratory
to face the needs of his shop, slowly widening up his
circle of customers who found a great deal in the
relation between prince and quality.
From then on that has been the target of Mr. Mario
Mazza and his heirs after him: to provide shops and
customers with blends which are the results of
selected types of valuable coffees from foreign
markets and of carefully manifactured procedures (starting
from the division of beans to their toasting, grinding
and vacuum-sealed packaging).
Procedures wich by now have lost their handicraft
character of 50 years ago, replaced by ultra-modern
electronic machineries, which still, hold the trace of
man and charm of tradition.
